Integrate Firebase with Evlop (iOS & Android)

Connecting Firebase to your Evlop app unlocks push notifications, app analytics, and a real-time database — for both iOS and Android.

Complete the steps below in order.

Quick overview

Step 1: Connect Firebase to the Evlop Server

Required

Follow this guide: Connect Firebase Account with Evlop Server (Admin SDK)

This must be completed before Step 2 or Step 3.

Step 2: Configure Firebase for iOS

Skip this step if you don't have an iOS app published.

A. Connect Firebase to your Evlop iOS app

B. Connect Firebase to your Apple Developer account

⚠️ Important: iOS push notifications will not work unless you also complete step B above — even if Firebase connects successfully on its own.

Step 3: Configure Firebase for Android

Skip this step if you don't have an Android app published.

Step 4: Connect Google Analytics

Step 5: Request a New App Build

Required

After completing Firebase setup, submit a new build for your app on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store. Push notifications won't function until the updated build is live.
