How can I get my Android developer account?

Step 1: Sign up for a Google Play Developer account
Using your Google Account, sign up for a Developer account.
Once you have a Developer account, you can use Play Console to publish and manage your apps.
Step 2: Accept the Developer Distribution Agreement
During the signup process, you’ll need to review and accept the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
Step 3: Pay registration fee
There is a US$25 one-time registration fee.
Step 4: Complete your account details
-Select your developer account type (Personal/Organizational).
-Complete all the fields for your chosen account type.
-Accept the Terms.
-Create your account.
-Learn how to verify your contact details.
You can add more account information after you’ve created your account.

Note: To process your request for a Play Developer account you may be asked for a valid government ID and a credit card, both under your legal name. If this information is determined to be invalid, your registration fee will not be refunded.

Does it cost to get Apple and Android developer accounts?

To sign up for your developer account on App store(Apple) you need to pay $99 per year and for Google Play store(Android) you need to pay a one-time fee of $25.

Yes, it is. You can build and publish fully functional iOS/Android apps or both for free at no cost using the Icebreaker plan.

How long does it take for my app to get publishing approval on App Store and Play Store?

Your app could get approval in 2-5 days, however it may take longer. It is a good practice to take a buffer of 7 days between app submission and app launching.

Can I publish and manage a single app for my two shopify stores?

No, you cannot merge two different stores on a single iOS or android app. You can only create one iOS app and one android app for one store. 2 stores require 2 different apps to be published.

Can I run Evlop mobile app setup process from my mobile device?

It is possible to develop mobile apps for your store using Evlop through your mobile phone. But we recommend you to use laptops and desktops; the app creation process will be more efficient.

How can I test my app on my devices before publishing?

In the case of iOS you need to upload an app to TestFlight then only you can install your app and test on your iPhone, but for Android apps you can install an apk file and install to your Android phones.
Also using Evlop live preview feature, you can visualize how your app looks during app customization as well.
you can follow these steps for downloading the apk file for your mobile app.
–Go to the shopify dashboard.
–click on Evlop -mobile app from sales channel.
–go to App publishing
–click on the Android app dropdown.
–click on Build android apk.
Process may take approximately 20 min to complete then you will get the download option to get the APK file of your app to install on your android devices.

How to enable/ disable customer accounts from my app?

You can follow these steps to enable/disable customer accounts from your app.
–Go to the Shopify dashboard.
–Go to the sales channel.
–Click on Evlop- mobile app.
–Go to the App setting.
–Scroll down and click on the Customer Accounts Section.
–Click on Enable/Disable.
Your customer account is now enabled/disabled, you can verify from the side menu if My Account and Order and shipping options are there to the bottom.

Is there any limit to push notifications use?

No, you can send any number of push notifications as per your marketing needs. We would love to see your business grow!

Can I add promotion sections inside my app to promote my products?
